If it doesn’t, choose your OS (Mac, Linux, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Vista, etc). Once the program is downloaded, you should be able to view the files .
Yes! In fact, we prefer that you come and try the equipment before you buy. There are many different types of booms to choose from. If you visit us, we can show you the pros and cons of each boom, to find which one suits you the best.
All trucks sold have recent ANSI inspected booms (unless otherwise noted). Our trucks are inspected and gone over by our expert mechanics, fully functional, and ready for the job.
We stock mainly under CDL bucket trucks. The majority of trucks here will have a 40-43′ work height.
Some of our categories occasionally sell out of inventory. Keep checking back with us, or follow us on Facebook, and we’ll let you know when we get the inventory you’re looking for.
The owner personally oversees all steps in making sure these trucks are how the customers want them, his high expectations of an expert staff, ensure a quality product. Since we are still a small business, we have the advantage of knowing all of our equipment in great detail. This gives us the confidence in knowing that you will be satisfied with your purchase.
Telescoping booms only extend and retract in one direction, and do not contain “Knuckles”. Articulating booms have a higher work height and a further reach. An Altec AT37G is a common telescopic and articulating boom.
Common controls are: Pistol grip or hydraulic controls which can be operated with one hand. There are also electric over hydraulic controls, which are electric toggle switches that actuate solenoids that open and close to operate bucket. Typically, these are non-insulated buckets.
Insulated bucket trucks require hydraulic controls, di-electric hydraulic fluid, and non-conductive hydraulic lines in order to be considered “insulated’. Typically, a metal boom will have a section or two that have a fiberglass insert between the two metal sections of the boom. The bucket itself will also have a fiberglass liner. Do not drill holes in your fiberglass bucket, if you have an insulated boom. Advantages of a non-insulated boom are cheaper maintenance costs, and the ability to have a 110v power outlet in the bucket.
